The StandICT.eu - Legacy & Road Ahead to 2023
StandICT.eu ended its activities in February 2020. This Pilot Project Initiative started back in January 2018, as a first of its kind in the field of ICT Standardisation: a continuous Cascade Funding flow spread across 8 different Open Calls, very close together to effectively support endeavors of European ICT Standards experts actively contributing to International ICT standards efforts.

Smart Applications REFerence Ontology (SAREF) - The Open Portal
The SAREF family of standards enable interoperability between solutions from different providers and among various activity sectors in the Internet of Things (IoT) and therefore contribute to the development of the global digital market. These standards are designed to run on top of the oneM2M system, the global IoT partnership project of which ETSI is a founding partner.
StandICT and the independent experts in standardization
There is a gentle buzz of active conversation at coffee time in the reception hall at ETSI, interspersed with hearty laughter. Experts in all subjects have gathered for a wide range of discussions. In small meeting rooms with great formality, they discuss the order of the day, but, over coffee, they share history and experience, present difficulties and future promises.
StandICT.eu Final Event – Paves the road to the future of European ICT Standardisation
StandICT.eu Final Event “Reflections & Sustainability - 24 Months On” delivered its final event on 5th of December 2019 at the DG Connect premises of the European Commission. One of the project’s principal goals was to support and fund European experts interested in contributing to global ICT standardisation efforts.
The CEN-CENELEC Guides are reference documents published by CEN-CENELEC to give orientation, advice or recommendations on standardization principles and policies and guidance to standards writers. Guides may also address issues of interest to all users of European documents such as manufacturers, designers, service providers and educators.
