Samira Nik, PhD in Materials Science, few years work experience in nano-technology and semiconductor sectors.  Currently, I am working on aligning cutting-edge innovation with the strategic business objectives of CEN and CENELEC by engaging with ICT and related technologies. I am the coordinator of CEN-STAIR4SECURITY, a European Commission founded project under H2020 programmes aimed at increasing the security of European citizens and enhancing the competitiveness of the European Security industry, contributing to the definition of security-related policies and in particular to standardisation activities. I am also involved in Open Source standardization project in CEN and CENELEC.
